Tis The Season for Red Velvet Christmas Cupcakes!

Ahhhh, my love of cupcakes…...I could eat one any day, any time, any place! The first time I sunk my teeth into a Sprinkles red velvet cupcake I knew I had found my ultimate sweet treat! From that moment on, I became slightly obsessed with wanting to create my own perfect mini cake. After quitting my job to become a full time mommy, I found that the cupcake making process turned into a therapy of sorts. It was “me” time where I got to construct my little iced masterpieces, all resting comfortably on a squishy bed of delicious cake. I have discovered that my true passion lies in creating themed cupcakes. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge that comes along with trying to recreate a particular holiday, animal, or occasion via a cupcake. My neighbor and now dear friend, Annie, has been my cupcake partner in crime and loves the process as well. We thrive in molding fondant, deciding where and where not to add sprinkles, and just being artistic in the kitchen! Whether this remains a hobby, or you catch me on the Today Show in 5 years, I truly love the creative outlet that I get from this process and hope to share my sweet treats with you!
